Manufactured from cold-rolled low-carbon steel stripes of desired thickness, TTI Leather Shaving Blades find their way to a large number of tanneries both in India and around the globe. Available in 300 mm to 1500 mm total working width, these leather shaving knives are carburized, hardened, refined to a specific case depth, and taken through special in-house heat treatment processes to provide optimum hardness and longer knife life. We also provide Full Hard, Centre Soft, and Front Hard Blades based on clients' requirements.

An uniform Rockwell Hardness of 63-65 HRC in the front portion provides a sharp cutting edge while the strong rear portion of the knives ensure a firm grip in the cutting machine. However, the hardness of the blades near their inner diameter is kept comparatively lesser to ensure ease of removal during the process of blade changing or re-blading.

Moreover, the hardened sharp edge of knives can be maintained with re-grinding on a repetitive basis for a longer service life.
